Why is my titrant bottle yellow?

The iodate in the titrant is degrading into iodine. This can be caused by temperature, time, contaminants, etc. Please refer to the expiration date on the bottle and replace expired reagents. A faint yellow indicates the titrant is losing viability, we recommend replacing as soon as possible.
