DEHA (Diethylhydroxylamine) is used in water treatment chemical formulations for controlling corrosion in boilers very effectively due to its property of oxygen scavenging. The advantage over conventional hydrazine is that its far less toxic and meets the standard for blowdown disposal providing good protection against corrosion at the same time.
