      My sample doesn't turn orange after addition of ferroin indicator (FE3144).

      If your sample doesn’t turn orange after addition of ferroin indicator, make sure your bottle of ferroin is not expired. Also, ferroin indicator must be stored properly and will break down when exposed to cold, heat, direct sunlight, or high humidity. The active complex in the ferroin indicator may drop out of solution rendering the indicator non-functional.
